Corrosion Inhibiting Thermoplastic Encapsulation for Moisture Ingress | Enviropeel
Thermoplastic barrier with built in corrosion inhibiting oils that prevents ingress and arrests corrosion.
Enviropeel is a corrosion inhibiting sprayable thermoplastic system (Enviropeel E170), that protects assets by creating a continuous, impermeable encapsulation over complex geometries, then maintaining protection internally through active inhibiting oils released onto the substrate surfaces. The material is heated to become sprayable then cools into a tough rubbery coating that seals out water, oxygen, dust and contaminants, while the inhibitor oil helps slow and arrest corrosion progression, including on already rusted components and mixed substrate joints where galvanic effects accelerate attack.
Key Advantages:
Complete Encapsulation
Our system encapsulates the entire flange assembly, including bolts and crevices, sealing all potential ingress paths.
Surface Tolerant
Compatible with surfaces where rust removal is impractical or difficult-to-blast areas, therefore eliminating the need for harsh mechanical preparation.
Corrosion Prevention
Prevents galvanic corrosion and arrests existing rust with the built-in inhibiting oils that migrate to the steel interface, neutralizing corrosive agents and preventing underfilm attack.
Equipment Longevity
Eliminates frequent re-coating, extends equipment service life and reduces equipment downtime.
