Corrosion Resistant Penetrant for Crevice Corrosion Prevention | Termarust

Overcoating solutions designed to stabilize corrosion and extend the life of ageing steel assets.

Our High-Ratio Co-Polymerized Calcium Sulphonate (HRSCA technology) is an active corrosion-control system for steel structures affected by rusting, crevice corrosion and pack rust, particularly where abrasive blasting may be impractical. The solution is presented for overcoating prepared, tightly adhered existing substrates and for penetrating corroded joints and connections to arrest ongoing rust bleed, deterioration at crevices and the need to extend service life on ageing steel infrastructure. The HRSCA systems achieves this by neutralising the acids, displacing the moisture and scavenging the oxygen to arrest the corrosion

Key Advantages:

Active corrosion-control mechanism

Our HRCSA technology stays chemically active within connections and crevices to help stop rust bleeding from inside joints, rather than acting only as a passive surface barrier.

Targeted to crevice corrosion and pack rust

The system is specifically designed for crevice-corroded and pack-rusted joints and connections, making it ideal where deterioration is concentrated in lapped steel details and built-up members.

Longevity of ageing structures.

The HRSCA systems is a means of extending the service life of steel assets exposed to ongoing atmospheric deterioration through its ability to chemically stop corrosion.
